I've noticed that in some of my users' installation of Word, there is a font available called "Times". This is not in every installation, nor in the base image I use to deploy the desktops. Does anyone know how I can track down where Word is getting this font

I created documents in Word 2003 and thought I saved them in a general location (My Docs.). Now that I'm looking for them, I can only find some of them. I promise y'all that when I do find them I'll put them together in one folder. Thanks in advance.

I can't explain this very clearly because its very weird, but hopefully you will make sense of the following: 1) I have a 40 or so page Word 2000 doc, which consists of around 80% of table layouts, but simple table layouts at that.

I'm experiancing some trouble with my text. I have, for example, 3 footnote reference in the text per page. But my 3rd footnote comment always transmits to the next page even thought the number reference stays in the text on the previous page. It seems as if it doesn't have room ...

Hi- I was thinking about upgrading to Office 2007, but I saw that Grammar and contextual spelling in Word wasn't turned on unless you have 1GB of memory. My daughter's laptop only has 768 MB of RAM. Is 1 GB required for the spell check function to work, or is it just not

I created a customized template for the proposal, but when I sent it to my co-workers, they couldn't see my special tools and couldn't use its Macro function too. The template is only working from my computer, not from the other computers.

I am unable to locate normal.dot. I am using Windows XP, MS Word 2000. When I search for it, it shows in search window the path for normal.dot as c:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates But I am unable to see the directory Application Data under 45!
