When I am using outlining in Word and hit return and then tab, it gives puts
the next level numbering below at a prescribed tab set, which is further to
the right than I prefer.  So, I would like to change this default tab stop
within outlining.

I am still using  old FAX templates (from 97 Office Suite) with 2003 Word.
I have no problem with using them except for one problem.
That is check boxes.   In the fax form,  there are check boxes in front of
Urgent, For Review, Please Comment, Please Reply and Please Recycle.

I have set up various items under Gallery>AutoText.  In Word 2003 AutoText
was offered as one typed but now this is not offered, I have to press type
the autotext entry and then press F3 to get it.

How do I get WORD to open new DOCs in a new tabbed window and not a whole
new instance of WORD?
Same goes for Excel.
I don't see it in the options or custom areas.

No matter what I do, Word 2007 keeps opening in Print Layout and I have to
switch it back to Draft view.  I don't see any place in the Word Options to
set the view and keep it that way.  In earlier versions of Word, I have much
more control over the Document view.
