I have a doc with 2 separate tables of the same structure, specs, etc.
I removed the contents separating them.
Now I carriage return between them.
How can I join those 2 tables? Or at least remove the carriage return so

Using MS Word 2002. I have turned off all the autocorrect
options--Autocorrect, Autotext, Autoformat, Autoformat as you type, and

I have been using Microsoft Office 2003 for quite some time on my Windows XP
system. Now suddenly I am experiencing strange line spacing in Word. For
example, after typing the first line of text and hitting Enter, the cursor
skips halfway down the page.

I spent about 5 minutes looking for system requirements and couldn't find
them on the Office 2007 page.  After being burned by the kludge Vista, I'm
sticking with 2003 for a while

insists on trying to change the version of English, resulting in Word asking
me if I want to save changes to normal.dot every time I close it. In fact I
don't want it messing with it, as I have it set to NZ ...

I'm Using Word 2003 with documents containing Chinese characters.
I've always been able to display phonetics (pinyin or bopomofo /
zhuyin fuhao) next to each character using the 'Phonetic Guide'
function. (This function is under Format / Asian Layout).
