Hi all - got an odd problem
I've got Thunderbird set as my default email client.
In Word 2000, when I go to File, Send To there's no option to email the
document.

I have an Apple computer and trying to email a document in Word but when I
tried to click Send To, it opens Mail (Mac).  I'm using Entourage 2004 as my
default email program.  Aside from saving the Word doc and then opening the
Entourage, there's an option in Word to Send To ...

I would like a paragraph to always start exactly 3 cms down from the
top of the page, and the next paragraph to start 10cms from top of the
page.
Is there a way I can fix the postion of a paragrah?

I tried to set up a 10 x 4 envelope at the top of an 8 1/2 x 11 page (landscape). Brought
in a table of one cell, just for visual alignment, and text boxes for return and send
addresses. Somehow, the program has ascertained that I really want 2 pages, each 11 x 4

Using Word 2000. I have been inserting the degrees sign using Insert,
Symbol, and I must have hit a key wrong somewhere because now I get nothing
but symbols using the keyboard. Total gibberish. How do I turn off Symbols?

In the 2003 version of MS Word, defining headers that were numbered 1, 1.1,
1.2, 1.3 was very easy to do.  Now I can't figure out how to do it in MS
Word 2007.  Can someone please tell me how to do this?

Is there some freeware application to compare two Word files?

I am trying to link to Adobe Acrobat .pdf files in an MSWord 2000 document
that is going to eventually be converted to .pdf itself.  After conversion,
the links break!  I was able to get "cabinets" to appear in the MSWord
document that end in .lnk, but they don't convert to .pdf ...
