I am working on several resumes - am relatively new to 2007 but am finding my
way around ok till now...Need to have objects placed at the top of a document
- shapes & text - had it all done - colored, etc...when I try and print it it
leaves a white space at the top and cuts off ...

This has been a recurring problem for me, but I haven't had any luck
finding anyone else with the same problem:  I have text-boxes in a
document which I would like to be sized to fit the text inside them.
I have the "word wrap" and 'resize autoshape to fit text" boxes

How can I stop the "My Documents" folder from being the default every
time I try to save something?  I never use My Documents for anything,
but it just keeps coming up.

I pulled up wmay11.doc, deleted the only page, put in a few words, and then
saved it. Not good. I meant to save it as wmay11new.doc. Is it still
possible to retrieve the original somewhere? I couldn't do an undo, and

I have Word 2007 with Vista Home Premium . The online Help about Finding Text
doesn't seem to be particularly adapted to the products I have . For a start
, it suggests you can find all occurrences of whatever by clicking the Find
All button - but there isn't one ! (OK - clicking ...

I run Word 2003 (ver.11) on WinXP/SP2.
I have used the field code FILENAME in the footer of a document.
The FILENAME does not get updated if I save the file with a new name,
close Word  and then open the new file.  This can ne very confusing.

How do I convert a 2007 Word document to HTML? I want the HTML page to look
exactly as the Word document does. I used to be able to do it with earlier
versions of Word but can't find the procedure in 2007. Thanks.

Document analyse keeps running every 30 seconds during which time no work can
be done on the document. Can document analysis be turned off or configured to
operate when required?

I can't find this in the menus - probably missing it.   When I enter a URL
or email address in a document (Word 97), I would like to remain as "text" -
that is, each letter can be edited - and not to pop up in blue and look like
one "word."
