Using Word 2k.
I've been given a Word file with what looks like simple slabs of text,
just one paragraph after another.
I'm processing the file for DTP, and my layout app was choking on what

I'd like to use four fields for the name of my contacts when I do a mail
merge. They are:
(Title) (First) (Middle_Name) (Last).
However, for contacts with no title, one space appears before the first name:

When I used to work with WP there was a way to remove all menus from the
screen so that a person had 100% of the screen to work with. Is that feature
available with MS W 2007? Any help would be appreciated.

How does one shut off the feature where the first line in a paragraph is

II'm very sorry I can't be more accurate in my describing but I’m trying to
figure out how to get dotty underling - without underlining the word as well.

I have obviously unintentionally changed a setting somewhere.  I don't know
which one.
Problem:  I suddenly have a gray background on all my Word doc page numbers
as well as all the other small graphics. There appears to be a gray

I want to draw in landscape format 2 separate grids adjacaant to each other

When I have typed many pages, and have gone backwards and forwards, cut,
pasted cut again  etc. I sometimes lose track of where I left the Insertion
Point. I do not want to move it from where I left it, because where I left it
is where I wish to be !.

I would like to add a field to the address block composite field in mail
merge (the Job Title field). The address block dialogue window doesn't seem
to have a way to add a field, and I don't see a way to create a new, custom
composite field.

How does one access the 2007 Word Print Dialogue box so they can select
print or print preview?

When I insert hypertext in a table, ( Word 2007) it will not open using the
Ctrl Enter key combination.  The feature is enabled in Word Options.  Ideas?

Word 2007 Quick Styles seem to sort alphabetically by the style name.  Is
there a way to change that?  For example, I want Body Text to appear before
Block Text.  I looked at Manage Styles, but that's a bit confusing.  Thanks
for your help.

which I'd like to print one after the other into ONE SINGLE file
(e.g. word or event text)
Any free software that does that ?

Can anyone tell me how to do it?
