Using my old version of Word, I would generate Word docs (.doc) with about 12
scans on a page, saving it used about 60-70 MB of hard drive space each.  
Using the same file but re-saving it under the new Word 2007 format (.docx),

Hi. I'm using Word 2003 in Vista Home Premium. Previously my Print Layout
view always displayed my documents with top, bottom and side margins and a
break between each page. Now, suddenly my top and bottom margins are gone
and there's a thin line separating each run together page ...

I want to create a document where i can fill in a reference number on the
first page and it automatically fills this number in to other pages of the
document.

I am using Office 2007 package, including Word 2007 and Outlook 2007.
I have noticed that when I open a new document (or email) my Word always
deafults to "Normal" in Format Text, which means that there is a one-line
space in between each line that I write text in Word or Outlook.

How can I change the default STYLE to "No Spacing" as deafult for BOTH Word

Where is the document map in Word 2007?
I chose the New Users forum because I might as well never have used Word
before now we have 2007.

When I cancel a print job that is running, it says "deleting" in the print
job list and then just hangs up.  I once had a long complicated solution to
resolve this, but I have lost the directions.  Why can't the program just
cancel the job?

How can I get the filename into the watermark (diagnollay across the

I'm a musician.  I'd like to make 6 booklets of songs that I sing and
the key that I play them in for the guys in the band, and set them up

I tried to set this option on my normal.dot in Word 2003.  I opened up and
did some owrk in other documents and closed MS Word.  I opened Word (w/o
another file) and the option was unchecked once again.  Is there a way to be
sure that this option stays checked for every document? ...
