In versions previous to 2007 I used to go in Tools->Options->File Locations
and set the paths for workgroup and user templates to company workgroup and
user templates paths and the templates would become accessible under
File->New. I have tried to do the same in Word 2007 but ...

Using Word 97.
I want to send someone some documents I have written using a Cyrillic
TrueType font. The recipient does not have the font on their system, so

I transferred data from my computer, onto floppy discs and this process was
very easy.  I marked each of the discs  'Recovery Discs' and gave each a
number.  Now I want to reinstall that data back onto my computer but it reads
the discs and doesn't process the information.  Why?  ...

Every time I open a file in Microsoft Word 97, a box appears saying
that the file I have opened is being used by me and asks whether I
want to make a copy. For example, when I open books.doc, this appears:
"c:\books.doc is being used by Nick Bannister. Do you want to make a

I am using references over bookmarks. It works fine, but the style of
the reference is not cool. The reference appear normal, and it is only
by moving the mouse on it that I can see that there is a link behind.

I sometimes get files from work that are .docx files.
I can read them at work because we use Office 2007.
At home I have WORD '97 and I'm not aware of any patch that will allow me to
read such a file.
