How can I set up a portion of a page with two parallel columns and a line
down the middle between them. The columns should each be about 4 inches
wide. Can this be set up for frequent use in the future?

It appears that htm files are associated with MS and have html code that is
not used outside of MS-land. Is that correct? Can one translate the htm
codes to html?

but any other means, e.g. clicking on .doc attachement in Outlook

Someone (with permission) used my computer and now when I hit the "open new
blank doument" icon there are words left there from a previous document.  How

I thought I'd see if I could generate an html file with a Word document. It
has jpg files and text. The jpg files are Tight and positioned as Other.
When I tried to save, I noticed a Type of *.htm, *.html, so used it. Word
objected because of formating with the jpg file positions ...

Originally, when I pressed Ctrl-O, a folder window would open with the names
of my Word files. But I did something in Word 2007 that now causes that
folder window to open full screen. How can I reduce the size of this window?

As I recall, spell/grammar check in Word 2001 recognized items that had
been marked Ignore (once or all), so one didn't have to keep dealing
with the same suggestions.  Is there a way in Word 2007 to get that?  I
haven't found it so far.  Thanks.
