Is there a way to have 3 folders on my desktop with each linked to a

How does one change the user interface on Word 2007 to look like the previous
version of Word? I can't find anything in 2007. I am too busy to learn a
new interface. Time is too valuable to waste learning an unneeded
rearrangement of the UI.

I am just learning Word 2007, have not used Word at all. Do you recommend I
do the online training at Microsoft website or should I look for an
independent consultant to train me?

When saving Word files within Word 2007 as .docx files and .doc
files,all of a sudden these files are now in the region of 1.7Mb
upwards.Why,and how can I get them back to the small Kb sizes the Save
As were previously? Thanks in advance.

I thought I knew what I was doing; I created a letterhead.dot, but can't
seem to convince it to only put footers on the first page of a letter. I
tried help, but just didn't ask the question right. I know I have had
this before! Any advice will be gratefully appreciated.

How do you stop Word from capitalizing automatically the first letter of an
email address? It happens if the address is the first item on a new line.
It ends up looking like this:

Word 2003 being used I am trying to create a numbered list.
First number is 1. I type my text, press enter and get a 2. If I press
Tab, I believe I am supposed to get a. but instead am just getting a 1/2 inch
tab space to the right. Even stranger, if I press Shift + Tab, I get ...

A little over a year ago I successfully printed labels from an Excel
database on this machine using Office 2003 Word and Excel under XP SP2. I
put the Excel database in My Data Sources and things went very well after a
few false starts and a lot of help from these NG's.
