How do I reset the factory settings for a word document templet? The top and
bottom margins do not exist any more. I dont know what I did.

I have a Word that has a lot of user inserted bookmarks.  I cant not get them
to show up if I convert to PDF using Acrobat 8 standard.

I have no problem doing envelopes from my laptop
with 2003 but!! when i do the exact very same thing
from PC with 2007 i get a blank page! why???

Sometimes I'm working with a table and I try to manually adjust the width and
height of a table, and I'm able to do so by hovering the mouse pointer until
it forms 2 parallel lines with tiny arrows.  But there are times when I do
the same thing and the row line or column line ...

In Word 2003 I could insert a premade line by clicking "format" - "borders &
shanding" - "horizontal lines" how do I do this in Word 2007

For some reason when I try to insert a date in Word I get
something like  {DATE MM/DD/YY} or something like that.
in a grayed field.

when i open a new document in Word, there is the paragraph symbol, which i
can not delete. When i start typing, it puts in symbols everytime I touch the
space bar...it is driving me nuts.....when i go to view the full document it
does not appear, I think I have turned something ...

In excel I can add a comment to a cell to show some text for the user to
complete the info in the cell.A guidance note.
I want to do the same in WORD son the user can hold the mouse over the
paragraph heading and some text will show for guidance.

Just wondering if it's possible to use a clipart picture for a watermark in

Over the past few documents I have created several new quick styles.  Now I
create a new document and it just shows the default quick styles.  How do I
save a quick style for use in all documents (i guess save it to the Normal
template or something)????

I have edited a picture on a word blank document. What I would like to do is
to place just the edited picture w/o the document into my picture folder. How
will I be able to do that? Thank you in advance.

I'm not really new to Word, but I AM new to Word 2007.  And in some ways, it
is VERY different.  Here is my current question:  How do I delete a Word
document without closing Word (2007)?  Thanks in advance to whomever may be

I you create a table 5 columns and 6 rows, and then use the tables and
borders function to erase all the horizontal lines in the first column, and
erase (inrow 1) columns 2,3 and 4 .....does MS word act as if the rows and
columns were never erased?
