I see in the Character Map for Arial, the font I always use, that the
infinity sign is U+221E
No matter what I try, I do not succeed in Word using U+221E.
I see in Insert \ Symbols, however, I can enter this in using 221E ALT+x .

Is it possible to set up an autotext change that converts 00/100 into
{superscript}00/{subscript)100?

I have a document that contains 4 columns, I want to have a vertical line

Hey there.  I have a new vista and Microsoft Office 2007 Student (i
believe - the top says non-commerical use)  and every document I
create has the file that ends in .docX  and when I email it to someone
with regular word they are unable to open it.

I have a table in a document with about 6 rows. It is more like a
form, where there is a label and the user of this document can enter
the value next to that particular label in each of the rows. Now, I
need to fix the field length of one of the rows to 2000 characters.

When I saved my 2007 word document as html, it saved all the images to a
seperate folder but why are most of them saved in both gif and jpg?

I need to do a manual in word with an index page.  Is there any way to link
the pages to the index so when changes are made in the document they are

I want to Stretch the letter L to have the word Davis setting just above

reading a lot of huge specifiation documents, I usually do not read
documents in one go.
To continue reading the next day where I stopped reading today, I
would like to mark the place of my latest reading, i.e. set a

PDF files appear with a file conersion box. Selecting the encoding that makes
the document readable does nothing but convert it to more of the same
unreadable text.

I am using Word 2002 and I have created a document which is only 1 page
long. However, when I print this document, a 2nd blank page always gets
printed along with the original page. I don't know if there is an
unprintable character on the blank page or what but I just can't seem ...

How can I add a text form field into a header section. Right now the text
form field button is not selectable inside a header . I have to  add a text
form field into the header and then insert a bookmark in the field and
populate it via code.

I tried on general questions but nothing for this...

now i went to copy from another Ms word 2002 document and paste it into the
inserted page i made in the 1st document...
