When I bring in some older MS Word files into Word 2003, some punctuation in
the file is coming in as an 'A', like this: A We the People,A instead of
quote marks " ". Some punctuation also comes in with @ or odd circles with X
in middle?

I have Office and Word 2003 operating on my desktop.
Can I also install Word 2007 on the same computer, and run the two programs
independently? --- or will the two clash and overlap with each other? thanks

When I add an icon to the toolbar using "Tools-->Customise-->Toolbars"
in Word 2003, it always disappears when I close and re-open Word. For
example, I add an icon for "Strikethrough" and can use it during the
current session but it is not there when I use Word the next time

Sometimes when you type something on microsoft word, then you go to a bit
before the sentance and start typing something else before it, it gets rid of

because a dialog box is opened.  Click OK, and then close open dialog boxes

I am helping a first-time 2007 user.  She opened a 2003 document and is
unable to use her mouse for editing; only the keyboard.  How does she turn
the keyboard off.

I do medical transcribing and need to keep inserting different templates into
the same document.  When I first open the "new" blank document I set the font
and font size, then want to insert a template so I can fill in the blanks,
but the font and font size do not look the same ...

I am using Word 2000 and would like to be able to do a search for a colon
followed by a space (: ) and delete the colon followed by a space, and
everything that follows to the end of the sell.
