Our office has just installed a scanner that converts documents to Word in

I have a Word document (word 2003), a single page, some text (small but
not tiny) inside a text box with a thin black border.  [It's a card that

I have Microsoft Office 2003 fully patched on my computer. When I try to
print from Excel of Word, a "Save the file as" shows up and wants me to save
the file with as a *.xps file. No matter what I do, I cannot get any of my
documents to print.

I'd like to make a Bibliograph at the end of a doc. I used end notes, and
that seems to more or less do the trick, but the foot note numbers are in
lower case Roman numerals. Is there a way to make them Arabic/Indian numbers?

Brand new user (first day!) I do not have the quick access (mini) toolbar and
cannot find how to make it available. Web sites tell how to customize it, but
not how to FIND it.

Is it possible to put a grid on the canvas to position objects?

When I delete a word 2007 document it goes to the recycle bin. But, word
automatically makes a dupcilate copy and places it in the my documents
folder. What can I do to correct this?

I have accidentally done something to my format in Microsoft word and now
there is dots in between each word instead of spaces, arrows at the beginning
of sentences and a weird 'p' sign at the end of paragraphs. Please help im
stuck and dont know how to get it back normal!

I used Excel as the datasource and it has 10,000+ records. My word
template has 1 pages and 10+ merge fields. It took over an hour to
merge to a new document with 10,000+ pages. The document was 400+MB in
size and took a while, at least 2 minutes to just open the document,
