I would like to know what the difference
is between .doc, .docx, and RTF formats.
Are they not all three developed by Microsoft?
Is RTF just an older version of the .doc format

I can not type anything in my word document, I put in the product key seversl

Using Windows XP and Office 2007
I have a lengthy  document with mirrored margins that result in a three-inch
margin on the OUTSIDE edge of each page.  This  blank space is for
participants to write their own notes in the margin during a presentation.

I want text I add to a table cell to be automaticly copied to another cell.
In Excel it would be easy enough, but I can't see a way of doing this in Word.
Can someone suggest which sort of approach might work best please ?

How do you copy tracked changes in MSWord 2007 into an email while
maintaining the tracked changes for an email receipient to review easily.  
This was an easy cut and paste in the the older MSWord version...

my important word document. please suggest me how i can open those documents?

I have opened a global Word template that I created using 2003 with Word 2007.
This template had macros and add-ins. When I open the template in 2007 under
my "Add-Ins Tab" it shows the list of documents that I have written in VB to
open when selected. My problem is...there are 10 ...
