I am still having trouble with files sent by my publisher to revise which I am working on in MS Word 2003. My autocorrect items work in some paragraphs in the files, but not in others. The paragraphs with problems seem to have the same styles as the ones

Maybe slightly off topic here, but how come a perfectly legal copy of Office XP is now not genuine when all I did was clone the drive to another bigger one? Seems a bit harsh???

When the new Windows 7 is expected to be on the retail stores for sale? Any idea of the retail prices? Will the Office Professional 2007 programs work well with it (I bet it will, since they are from the same company. Any anticipated problems? Slowness

I wrote a letter, then did a spell check. I corrected a few grammatical errors and afterwards, my whole letter is filled with red lines. What do I do to get it back to normal?

Can anyone tell me how to set the default justification for footnotes in Word 2007? At present, the default is for footnotes to be justified to the left and right margins. I would like the default to be "ragged right".

I need to find and replace a character but don't know how to type it and cut and paste doesn't work. It looks like a left arrow with an upward tail. I guess it is "carriage return", not paragraph mark.

Whenever I apply a style where the "Don't add space between paragraphs of the same style" and some space before/after are set to paragraphs within a table, the space between the paragraphs is indeed applied. When the same style is applied in the body text, the space doesn't appear ...

Somehow my "Home" tab, "editing" has reinvented itself. I used to have the default which showed find, replace and select. Now it only shows the binoculars. How can I restore the complete editing group on the ribbon?
