Problem: Although Windows Live Mail has all its defaults (both under Control
Panel --> Default Programs and Control Panel --> Internet Options) Word 2007

Whenever I have opened up Word, the Task Pane has always appeared and now it
has disappeared. I have to click on View, and click on Task Pane for it to
appear.   Also, in Tools, Options, View, under Show, there is a check by
Startup Task Pane.

[This is a "sequel" to my previous question but is a separate problem.]
When a table cell is selected, I need to do the equivalent of Paragraph >
Format on the cell, but can't make it work. My best try follows. The loop
needs to format the second cell in each row.

In Word 2003, I've just discovered that Word appears to ignore the
Autoformat option to replace *bold* and _italic_ with real formatting.
I just made this discovery in a document I'm working on, but the problem

I'm an office novice, I have Vista with 2007 Word and One Note. I see that I
can send a One Note doc to Word but can I send Word docs to One Note? I'm
reading and researching right now but maybe someone knows  the answer or a

I copied part of an XLS spreadsheet to create a Word table. The text in many
cells is indented in the original, but I need to make these flush left within
the cell. But I can't find a place within Word where this indent is shown:
it's not in the table cell specs nor in the paragraph ...

The problem is that afaik Word mail-merge does not allow attachments.
