When I insert a horizontal line in Word 2003, it always inserts a line that I have to change every time I start a new document. Is there a way to change my default horizontal line format? Thank you.

Word 2003 While creating a form in Word using the "check box" I want to change the " x " to a "check mark" . How do I do this? The ironic thing is the icon on the "form menu" displays a check mark but utilizes an "x" as the default.

Using Word 2003 I've made the discovery that it doesn't seem to matter if a document is passworded for either read-only or editing; all you have to do is hit ESC when prompted for the password and the file opens up for you, ready for whatever you want to do.
