many contact managers have specs assoiated with how many records can be
handled well until some sort of speed degradation occurs even on good
cpu/ram machines due to whatever the database technology is.

the moment if I click on New Contact I get an error message saying

I'm creating an e-mail campaign using distribution lists.  Rather than wading
through hundreds of names in the contact list, I want to add all contacts
within a specific category (or filter all the contact list names by category,
then select a subset).  Any ideas as to how?

I cannot open Business Contact Manager. I get a message that says the folders
are not available and to contact my system administrator. I have a stand
alone system.

Does anyone know how to 'attach' a received em-mail to a business contact? (I

I have just installed XP service pack 2 and BCM is acting very strange.
Biggest issues are:
1. the contact history (emails etc), shows my current in-box, not those only
related to that account

Using Business Contact Manager.  In the Account window, I mouse over the
account history pane.  I right -click, select either "customize current
view," or "show fields."  I add the fields that I want to appear in that
pane.  When done, I select OK. The list of opportunities now ...

How do I set the "State" field set to "Active" automatically when adding a new BCM Contact?

I work in a two person office. I manage our outlook-business contact manager
database. How can 1) create a back-up of it, and 2)transfer a copy of what I
have to my colleague's computer for her viewing? Thnx in advance. Is this
