I have the basic version of Office 2003.  I want the business contact manager
available in Small Business or Pro.  Do I have to purchase the full version
or will an upgrade version work the same?

I have shared the database and set up linking.  However, only the creator of
the email can view the attachments.  How can all users open the attachment

BCM V2 & SQL Desktop Server installed and operating.  All reports give the
message "The Report could not be generated. Please try again".  Records are
being written to the database and are visible on the Account, etc. forms.

I have been successfully backing up BCM (internal drive/overwrite file

I had to uninstall BCM and have tried to re-install it several times and
after the installation I can't figure out how to enable it and have it open
in Outlook.  SQL is running and set to automatic and I don't get any error
messages.  I think BCM is all there, I just need help ...

When I try to install BCM I get the following (increasingly annoying) message:
"Setup is already running.  Only one instance of setup can run at a time."
Outlook isn't running.  I've restarted the computer.  I've uninstalled BCM
from the Add/Delete programs.  Nothing else is ...

I've spent a few hours playing with the current BCM and feel that a major
change/new version must be in the works.  I would be happy to sign up as a
beta tester if there is an easy place to sign up please let me know.

Hey all,
I am having a problem installing and syncing the Business Contacts with my
Pocket PC.  My Pocket PC is a an HP iPAQ rx1950 running Microsoft Windows
Mobile OS Verizon 5.1.1702.  I have Microsoft Office 2003 Professional,

I downloaded and installed the Pocket PC version, but there are no
contacts or accounts showing up on the handheld.  It doesn't look like
ActiveSync is synchronizing the folders.
Anybody have an idea?

Since BCM is shareable, and claims to work with SBS 2003 Exchange, I was
wanting to place the database for BCM on the server.  Has anyone done this,
and how did you go about doing it?

In the business contact manager you cannot add a business contact to more

I am using Accounts Manager and am using follow up flags.  Is it possible to
have them linked to my daily tasks.  As its set right now, nothing comes up
to remdind me of a scheduled follow up.

Any suggestions on correcting this?  I have already cleared the forms cache
and checked to make sure BCM was not disabled.   I also tried deleting
outcmd.dat, extend.dat, and frmcache.dat (suggestion from microsoft help).

When I moved my information to a new computer, no contacts appear in my
Buseiness Contacts folder.  The contacts in my other folders (Contacts,
Personal, etc.) did move over.
I did not import/expoert.  I simply copied the Outlook and Business Manager
