I have just recently installed BCM version 2 on a desktop and a laptop. The
desktop hosts the database. I would like to know if it is possible to have
the laptop use the database remotely, either by a caching mechanism or by
some process.

I'm recovering from a hard drive failure.  Reinstalled Office and copied my
.pst file but can't find the files for my ACCOUNTS, BUSINESS CONTACTS and
OPPORTUNITIES.....

I have a Palm LifeDrive PDA and currently synchronise all of my personal
contacts with it's address book feature.  I have recently installed BCM on my
office PC and would love to be able to do the same with my business contacts
details so that they are with me when I'm out of the ...

Hopefully someone at MS can direct everyone to a patch that fixes this.  Had
BCM installed with integration to SBA on a developer machine with VS2003,
VS2005 and VSTO2003 and VSTO2005.  Everything was working fantastic until
latest updates with .NET Framework 2.0 and installation ...

There are a number of drop-down list fields in BCM (eg "Source of Lead",
"Sales Stage", "Territory") which are pre-populated when BCM is installed.
But, it would be advantageous to be able to customise these lists to make
them fit my business better. Can this be done, and how?

IN my BCM all of a sudden I am not getting a visual reminder for my follow up
flags. It has been working ever since I loaded BCM but now it doesn't. I set
the flag, date and time for a reminder but when the time comes I do not get
one. I went back to Tools, Options, Advanced, ...

I reinstalled BCM after reinstalling XP Home.
Import of BCM records via csv files gives error on category values I added
to the Category List.
How do I transfer the category items from the old BCM to the New BCM?

When I click on share database and select I want to share my database from
the dialog box, I receive the error "There are no more endpoints available
from the endpoint mapper." If I click ok to continue, I can add users. When
I add users and click finish, it says, "error occurs, ...

I imported a BCM file from one profile to another. The import overwrote my
existing BCM file! Is there anyway to recover the lost contacts? They are not
in the BCM/Deleted Items folder. Also, when I do a file search for .bcm files

I am running XP home edition on a desktop which works fine.  I tried to do a
full install of office pro edition 2003 of which I also tried to install
small business contact manager.  Everything went well up to the point that I
tried to open outlook and got an error message that ...

Before when I opened a business contact contact history was displayed under
"business contact history". Now, it shows my emails from my inbox and will
not allow me to view the history. Clicking on "add" does nothing... Any

When I open outlook (I also have Business Conatct manager running) I get an
error meessage object reference not set to instance object

I get this error message when I try to open Outlook 'Object reference is not
set to an instance of an object'.  What does this mean and how do I fix it?

After updating BCM with SP2 for BCM (I did not update with SP1 originally,
and now will not let me install SP1 update) I cannot generate any reports
under the Business Tools menu.
