share contacts in business contact manager18 Apr 2007 23:05 GMT11
When is Microsoft going to make BCM a viable competitor to ACT?  Even the new
version of ACT! is so clunky and it tries to take over your calendar and
email and even web browsing, doing a worse version of all three.  The only
thing it does do well, however, is allow different ...

Removing Business Contact Manager17 Apr 2007 17:18 GMT3
It sounds like in some applications, Business Contact Manager has been
installed as an add-on in the add/remove programs list in Control Panel.
When I installed BCM, it actually added in to my Outlook 2003 and did not
create an add-in for me to remove.  When I add/remove ...
History items17 Apr 2007 10:54 GMT4
Is it possible to get the History Items back on the main screen for a

This morning I installed a new patch for Outlook (KB933493). Ever since I
have installed it, I'm getting a pop-up window when I open any of the other
Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) that states: "Office
application version does not match".
Any correct way to disconnect temporarily BCM from Outlook 2007 ?16 Apr 2007 17:22 GMT1
I need sometimes to start "clean" Outlook with mail/calendar data only but
without BCM connected to it. Sometimes it's also necessy to "lock" BCM
information on PC, so that another person working under same Windows account
could not alter it by accident.
Transfer or copy Business Contact Manager Categories16 Apr 2007 13:22 GMT2
I had to take Business Contact Manager off one machine and put it on another
machine.  I was able to export the contacts and import them on the new
machine but I haven't been able to find out how to transfer the Categories to
the new machine.  I really don't want to retype them.
