I have been trying to import my ACT 8.0 database into BCM and have
encountered two scenario.  There are about 8300 contacts in the ACT database
and many user-defined fields.
1)  When I tried to import only Contact records, but all subcategories i.e.

I had to re-install a server. First I made a 2003 and upgrade to longhorn.
Install office 2007 and BMC (and connect it to sql2005). All was working.
I had to re-install the server, and strat directly to install longhorn Beta3.
Installation was a sharme ... till I try to install BCM ...

I have Office Pro 2007 installed.
I thought that BCM was included.
I can find it as installed and inactive, and when I reinstalled Office, it
didn't appear to be a choice there either.

Hello there, I am a long time user of BCM and have about 1900 active contacts
and over 200 active pursuits.  I recently moved the database to a central
W2003 box and connect to it over the LAN from several boxes, including 1
laptop.  This laptop is running Vista Vista Ultimate ...

During BCM setup, I get the following error message:
"Business Contact Manager Could not find the database you are looking for..."
Set up then asks if I want it to create a new database, and I answer "yes".
After trying, Set Up is unable to create a new data base.

Why can't I enter Outlook 2007 BCM. I think I finally got all of 2003 BCM out
of the system but each time I run the install it tells me that it failed to
install. I am also having problems with Accounting express 2007. It tells me
that it didn't register right and I cannot update ...

My Outlook is not recognizing that Business Contact Manger is there &
therefore the wizzard won't let me create a database.

I am a dummy.
I chose all the defaults when loading BCM.
The SQL icon on my taskbar says "not connected." I assume this is the root
of my issues within Outlook.

What do I do to be able to have the Ability to Group business contacts and
send Emails using Groups

I have a problem, once you add a buss contact to an account you cannot add it
to another account. However I have contacts that act on more than one
account. Can any one help or this a design floor in the system?

I purchased outlook 2007 stand alone product. I did not realized that it did
not come with bcm. Is there a way to get or download? Or do you know if
microsoft will offer it as a download like with 2003. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks.

I would like to customize the standard titles (descriptions) of the Sales
Stages in the Business Contact Manager (Outlook 2003) in order to suit my
business sales funnel requirements.   Is there any way?  I would appreciate
