Problem Closing Archive Folders26 Feb 2008 01:02 GMT1
I opened a PST archive file in Outlook 2007 with BCM and started getting out
of memory errors.  Restarting did not help.  I closed Outlook and renamed the
archive PST file and that seems to eliminate the out of memory error.  But, I
can't seem to close the link to the old archive ...
Problems implementing BCM with a remote SQL DB25 Feb 2008 21:20 GMT2
Using the MS document "Deploying Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager
in a Remote Database Configuration" (bcm_sql.doc) I was able to implement
BCM2007 and a connection to a server-based (SQL Server 2005 Express) db, but
had problems and these comments:
Business Contact Field Chooser won't save25 Feb 2008 02:25 GMT2
When I go in and customize the Contact list in BCM that's great, but it will
not stay the way I change it.  When I go to another screen and come back to
the contact list, it has reverted back to the default settings.  This is
ludacris.
Creating accounts from Business Contacts List25 Feb 2008 02:20 GMT2
I imported my ACT contact database to BCM.  To create an account for my
contacts I have to retype all of the information on the new account page.
Why can I not just click on a contact that is already in my database and
retrieve the pertinant information from it.  This is totally ...
Customize Current Views in account list24 Feb 2008 10:10 GMT9
I have customized the fields to view in my accounts list using BCM.  However,
the fields I've chosen do not save if I leave BCM or outlook.  How do I
customize the view and keep it?
Sharing the BCM database23 Feb 2008 20:12 GMT3
I will try to make this as brief and as simple to understand as possible. I
have been trying to figure this out for 2 days and finally got it. I wanted
to pass this on in case anyone else might have a similar situation.

Is Office Outlook 07 w/Business Contact Mgr networked?23 Feb 2008 19:06 GMT1
Can't see any reference to it being a networked package, so if not, what
would be the next best product that could be used among users?
Outlook 2007 w/BCM not working22 Feb 2008 17:55 GMT5
So I got about 100 Accounts set up and almost 200 business contacts and then
the program starts crashing continuously. At some point, the BCM add-in got
disabled and now I don't see it at all.
So I do I see BCM again, and how do I get it to start without crashing?
Make fields required22 Feb 2008 13:33 GMT2
When creating Accounts the only required field is Account Name? Is there a
way to make other, either default or custom, fields required as well?
Thanks

Auto Formatting Contacts21 Feb 2008 23:40 GMT1
Is there a way to auto format each contact? For example, I would like the
home address to show up in blue (or some other color) text and the business
to show up as red text? So at a glance I can see the business card and see
which one is home and which one is business.
Add opportunities to the To Do Bar?21 Feb 2008 23:35 GMT1
I am sure that someone else has asked this question, or that it should be
obvious, but how does one get an opportunity to be added to the calendar or
the To-Do list?  I would like opportunities to appear on my calendar based on
the close date.  Also, is it possible to set the ...
