When I create an appointment and want to associate it
with a contact, I click on the Contacts button to bring
up my list of contacts.  Outlook defaults to my
Contacts folder (which I don't use) instead of to my

My appointments suddenly do not show up in any view of
calendar except when listing "active appointments".  I am
using Office XP Teachers&students edition, Windows XP.  
All other data bases work fine, ie, contacts, journal and

(Monday, Tuesday,etc) to be displayed when I open the

I exported the calendar to a floppy as a .pst file and
transferred it over to a different computer.  The weekly
reoccurring dates transferred over just fine but all the
appointments are nowhere to be found.  Please help!

I'll enter in appointments, then they disappear. The
dates are highlighted as if something is there, but in
the Daily view, I see nothing. Any help available?

When appointments are set, is it possible to tell who created the
appointment in a users calendar.
We used to have schedule + and use this all the time.

A whole bunch of calendar entries has been moved from the
calendar on Outlook into the delete box. But it says you
need Microsoft Exchange to retrieve them and put them
back in the Outlook calendar. Is there a way around this?

When setting up a meeting request and to view if attendee is available, what does it mean when availability shows black lines (no information option).  Generally, the options are coded if attendee's availability is 'tentative' (light blue), 'busy' (dark blue), 'out of the office' ...

I have a meeting that I have invited other to and have
received their responses.  After the fact I was asked to
invite someone new to the meeting.  I added the new
person's name, and then clicked the envelope button next
