I am always having to delete appointments, because I can't seem to figure out how to cancel them. The help menu tells me to open the appointment and go to the Actions menu and click "cancel meeting". This seems easy

I use OsaSynch to synchronise my outlook files on 3 computers on a home network. This includes mutliple calendars for other users on the network. Each calendar is put into its own folder within the .pst file.
