It seems to me that Outlook should be able to automatically recognize that
if you are entering an appointment for a date before the current date (e.g.,
to keep a record of how time was spent while away from the computer) you are
unlikely to need a reminder for that appointment.  ...

located on our office LAN and is set-up in Office 2000.  I get a message that

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but if the users are in different workgroups,
they will not have any, or they will have limited access to the calendars of
other users? For full functionality, all users must be in the same workgroup,

I have some people telling me that meeting requests are not going directly
