I have a problem with an outlook client (Office 2000 on Windows 2000 prof.)
together with Exchange Server 2000).
After synchronizing with a handheld, it's impossible to open recurring
appointments in outlook. If one tries to open such

I have a zillion appointments that all have been duplicated (some more than
once) with a time that's different by exactly one hour.  The problem appears
to have stopped several months ago, but I would like to clean up the old
appointment data as it's clogging up my Palm handheld, ...

I am getting reminders for a meeting event I have already deleted. Outlook
tells me it cannot dismiss and that I will continue to get reminders.
How do I extricate myself from this dilema?

I enter birthdays for individuals in the detail section of Contacts.  
However, when I go to my calendar the birthdays do not show up.  Is there a
way to make them show up automatically, or do I need to set up a birthday as
an event?

We are new to Outlook and do not understand why "No Information" is displayed
on Scheduling Tab when trying to schedule meetings and appointments greater
than 5 weeks in advance.

For some reason the holidays are not showing up on my calender, I'm pretty

I have added the Christmas day, and boxing day information from the uk
calendar, but want to know how to add the public or bank holidays, e.g.
Monday 27th December and Tuesday 28th December.

It would be benifical to organise your calendar dates advising which days you
would be working from home.  This could be done with a simular option to Out
of office, except by creating a new colour for "working from home".

Outlook should automatically enable/disable "out of the office assistant"
based on calendar events categorized as "out of the office." I can't think of
anyone who wouldn't benefit from this feature.
Does any one know of an add-in that would accomplish this? Anything free?

When holidays are imported into Outlook, a reminder should be automatically
added 1 business day before the holiday so Outlook reminds you about each
holiday. After all importing holidays isn't really useful unless you can be
notified about them in advance!

I want to retain my appointments (not recurring ones - all the others) in my
2004 calendar but when I go back before October 2004, they have all
disappeared.  How do I make them stay so I can review what I did in 2004 if I
need to?
