Slow updates to public folder all day event edits in cached mode06 Jun 2005 18:33 GMT2
I have noticed that all-day events created in an Outlook/Exchange public
calendar folder take a long time to update (up to five or six minutes).
  The most irritating thing is that the edits do not appear in the
Outlook client instantly, and my customers have been double-editing ...

If I am on a date, say July 22 and I switch to my Inbox and then back to my
calendar instead of staying on July 22 it moves back to the current date June
6.  Is there any way to change this so when I switch between areas in Outlook
my calendar date will stay where I left it?

There are times when I want/need to change the label and or free/busy status
on a number of events at the same time. Outlook only permits labels and "Show
time as" to be changed when creating or editing an event/appointment/meeting.
It should be possible to select multiple items ...

Whilst in British Summer Time (GMT+1) meeting requests sent to people that
arrive as email messages incorrectly identify the start time as being in GMT.
This has led to meeting participants not being informed of the correct start

Is there any way to make automatic formatting appear on a shared

Here is my problem, whenever someone sends me a meeting request, I check the
e-mail, if I do not respond (accept, deny, or tenative) it still goes into my

Every Monday morning I receive reminders for tasks that I previously have
dismissed.  I use Outlook 2000 and our server is Microsoft Exchange Server
2000.
