If I am on a date, say July 22 and I switch to my Inbox and then back to my calendar instead of staying on July 22 it moves back to the current date June 6. Is there any way to change this so when I switch between areas in Outlook my calendar date will stay where I left it?

Here is my problem, whenever someone sends me a meeting request, I check the e-mail, if I do not respond (accept, deny, or tenative) it still goes into my calendar as a tenative appt. How can I prevent that from happening? Thanks
