When users receive a meeting invitation and they click accept, it sends the meeting initiator the accept response but it doesn’t always put the meeting into their calendar. Thus people are missing meetings because its not showing up in their calendars.

I have a user who is wanting to view appointments he made in his calendar going back to 2003, but all he sees prior to this year is appts created as a recurring by his secretary. Is there a setting somewhere that determines how long appointments are kept for that I have missed ...

Whenever I get a meeting request and click on the "Accept" button, the item automatically goes to the "Deleted Items" folder. I can't find an option anywhere to prevent this from happening. Is there any way to turn this behavior off so that the item does not get deleted?
