I occassionally make notes in the text box of a newly created appointment,

change back so the notes only appear if I open the appointment?  I'm using
Office 2000.

at the current time/date.  Even importing a year of holidays showed up as
occuring on a single date/time.
Other features of Outlook work fine (e-mail; memos; etc.).
