In the Calendar function of Outlook 2003 SP-2, the user reported whenever she
sets up an appointment, her reminder time is 18 hours beforehand. I checked
her reminder defaults in her calendar – it is set for 15 mins.  Here is what
I observed:

I thought in a previous version there was a setting to allow declined
meetings to still show on your calendar.  I don't see this option in v2003.

1.  When "accepting" a meeting, it should update the organizer's calendar
without having to "send" the response which just adds more unneccessary
email.  There should just be an option of whether or not to accept/decline
with a response.
