We have Office 2003 at my work place and when one person schedules an appointment and invites another co-worker, everyone in our sales group gets the message. Anyone else have this problem, and if so how can we fix it?

Sometimes I send out a meeting announcement to a large group of people without needing to know exactly who is going to accept or decline, but since it's a large group, I don't want to get a flurry of emails from the respondees.
