it appears that old appointments (other than recurring entries) drop off
after about 7 mos.  is there any way to keep old appointments on the calendar
indefinitely?  once in a while i need to look back to see what week i left
town last summer or some such thing, and the entries ...

My wife has a business and just hired an assistant. I want to set up
the computer where both my wife and the assistant can access the
calendar from their respective distant locations. The calendar is  MS
Office Outlook. They both need to have access to the calendar.

Does anyone know of a way to view the monthly calendar in Outlook 2003 (XP)
in the same way that the Palm Desktop has it laid out? I like the idea of
being able to look at just one month at a time and then be able to advance

When I go to schedule a new appointment I have a problem with the "start

When I am sent a meeting request, it automatically shows up on my calendar,

We are using Exchange 2003. Using outlook and following this method

I am trying to setup resources so that user's can schedule them.
After I create the mailboxes I tried to schedule a resource.
I go into "Plan a Meeting" and add a resource from the address book.

I'm willing to have a 1/2 box for 2 weekdays to compensate.  I just have a
lot more events on weekends.

holidays, if there are old holidays already listed by a previous installation

It would be more convienant if I were able to view the next five days of my
calendar, not five working days, because on a Friday for example I can only
see the four days that are already over. Similar to the way the personal
folder displays the calendar.

Simple feature that I think would be incerdibly valuable in Outlook: let a
person specify how many hours they need each day to perform miscellaneous
tasks, and manage their free/busy status with this in mind.
