We are trying to synchronize our CRM system based on mySQL with outlook. The idea is to send an eMail from mySQL with an invitation (iCal) to outlook and the user shall accept or decline the suggestion in his normal way.

I tried tools> Options and Advanced options to put the reminders notice on but when I add an appoinment and try to save it with a reminder. I receive the error message:The reminder will not appear because the item is not in your calendar or tasks folder.

We do have a problem that all user can eachother modify the calendar rights. All useres are common domain members and no changes (rights) are donne on the exchange server. Clients are using Outlook2003. Server is SBS2003.

With calenders everything is geared towards business or purchasing extra software. It would be excellent, if Microsoft included some of this software as standard. So us home users could easily share or synchronise our Calenders

I need to set up work HOURS for for Mon, Wed and Fri and then another set of work hours for Tue and thurs to be viewed to show I am busy - rather than place mutiple calendar events to show longer and then shorter hours for the various work week.
