With Outlook 2007, when reading email, you can have a calendar pane open which shows the calendar, and the next few appointments coming up. Can Outlook 2003 do the same thing?

I would like to view more than two events per day in the "Month" view on the calendar in Outlook 2007. I've tried shrinking the font to nearly unreadable, but I still only get two events on a day with more scheduled.

When I set an appointment it often automatically sets a series of recuring dates. I dont want that. is there some default that I have set incorrectly? Thanks Larry

in the new appointment window if I choose any day in the past or future to set the appointment at, when I go to save, it places the new appt into the current day. I cannot set appointments in the future.

I have noticed that when I place a calender object in the public folders it does not allow me to change the calendar categories. Is there a way around this other then copying the calendar back into my "user" area from the public folder and then put it back ?

We share a staff calendar in in public folders along with maintaining our own personal Outlook calendar. It seems that when someone changes the category colors in their personal calendars, those colors also change in the public folder calendar.
