When typing an appointment into outlook the appointment suddenly splits into two and begins a new appointment! Does anyone know how to stop this from happening??

We have a real confusing combination of reminders in Outlook 2007. We are notified of some birthdays and anniversaries and not others, or birthday reminders show up months after they occur. Is there anyway to select groups of contacts and then set reminders for a specific date ...

The spell checker in an appointment appears to work...finds the misspelling then provides a suggestion...I accept. I go into the same appointment later and the same misspellings are found. Never had this problem in Office 2002.

I am using MS Outlook 2003, Professional Edition, SP2. I would like to reduce the number of hours visible in the calendar to 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. I believe there is a setting which exists but I have not found it.
