Is there a setting in Outlook 2003 to disallow duplicate calendar entries?

I would like to have my default calendar along with an additional calendar be
set as the defaults so I do not have to keep checking the check box for my
additional calender every time I open Outlook. Is this possible?

Can some smarty pants out there help me understand a particular behavior tha
thas me stumped?

I just got a new computer at work with the entire 2007 Office Suite on it.  
All of my appointments from my previous computer (which were on Outlook 2007)
carried over but I now get six reminders for a series of appointments I had

As subject title mentioned, I would like to help my boss add the HK public
holidays to his calendar.
I clicked the "check box" of the share calendar, and then add public
holidays.. but it failed and the holidays were added to my own calendar.. so
