vCard 3.0 support in Outlook 2003???12 Sep 2003 01:55 GMT1
Does anyone know if Outlook 2003 will support the vCard 3.0 standard
for saving and importing contacts?  Outlook 2002 & 2000 supported
vCard 2.1, which doesn't allow for categories.

I had never used Outlook until I needed to do so to
interact with my Palm Pilot phone.  When I inserted from
scratch all of my Contacts into Outlook to download to the
phone that process then changed the formatting of my

I have two contacts folders in Outlook, one in the
personal folders and one in a another mail account.  I
use the one in the other mail account.  Now when I do a
mail merge in Word and select Outlook Contacts it shows

I created my document and used a Contacts folder as the data source. Sent
the first email - everything worked.
Added new contacts to the same Contacts folder. Modified document but when I

I am new to Outlook and have setup a new user. I did set
the default pst correctly, so "personal folder" was
created. I have since pointed Outlook to the correct
default pst, but contacts are still pointed at "personal
