Importing contacts with fax area code and fax number11 Oct 2003 02:27 GMT2
Would anyone can help me, I am trying to import contacts
that is created in excel but the fax area codes is in
different column as the fax local numbers of the contacts.
In outlook I don't see the field fax area code to map

I have several large distribution lists that frequently
need cleaning up. A person will ask to be removed from our
email list, but I can't figure out how to do a quick
search of my Contacts folder to find them. I CAN find the

When I open my "address book" through Outlook, which
pulls the address from "contacts" some of the names
appear first name, last name instead of last name, first
name. I have tried deleting the contact and re-adding it

Six months ago I successfully exported my MS Outlook 2000
address book to an Excel 2000 file (in address book file -
> export, but that option along with export is now grayed

I used to be able to enter a contact phone number by
simply typing the number (ex: 2123339999) and when I went
to the next field Outlook would automatically format the

When I am sending an email and click the To button, all my contacts are in
the list to select from.  I know that it should contain all items with email
or fax data, but I'm getting all contacts.  Im running Outlook 2000 on
Windows XP Pro.  What am I missing?

Outlook 2000, on a network at work-  I was able to click
on the e-mail in the contact and change the display, but
when I forward or send something and use my address book
to pick the addresses, it still shows first and last name,

Is it possible to create a distribution list that won't
divulge the addresses of all the contacts in the header of
my email? Sometimes I want to send a message to multiple
recipients without broadcasting everyones information.

contact from Outlook.  Instead I have to load Work and
then print the envelope from there.

I am trying to share my contact information with another
employee using net folders.  However, not all of the
contacts are shared, even when all updates have been
sent.  There are only 180 contacts in total, we have both

database and, if so do you know of any completed sample
code or ado "ad-ins"?
