I have an Exchange 2000 server with some public folders. One of these folders is used for company contact info. I have also a company task folder created and tried to link it to the company contact folder under activities tab. Yet

When entering a new contact, the entry automatically defaults to private when it is saved even though the private box has not been checked. Any ideas why this happens. It doesn't work this way on other computers but I am unable to determine the reason.

I had to reformat and I saved my inbox, outbox and contacts in Personal File Format .pst. I can restore both inbox and outbox but I cannot restore my contacts. I also exported my contacts in an excel format but the restore with mapped fields is incredible and gives me a real mess.

Is there any way, similar to Palm desktop software, to be able to categorize the contacts. For example, I might want to categorize certain contacts as personal or whatever.
