I am in the process of converting a Daytimer 2000 database to Outlook
2000. I have successfully converted all the contact records and I am
able to write Journal messages but I have the following issues...
1) I use the following code to create the journal item

Additions made to Contacts do not get upgraded in the
Address Book and Vice Versa.  When I get a new address in
the Inbox and right click to add to Contacts, it does not
show up in the address book. Group addresses in one do

When I add a new contact from incoming mail, it goes into
the Contacts, but not into the Address Book.  This is
very irritating, depending on the way one creates new
mail or forwards mail, etc.  Any suggestions are

I've tried importing a file from Excel, and unfortunately what I got was 95,000 empty contacts in my folder!  I want to get rid of these folders and try again.  How can I do so?  I'm using XP and it won't let me delete the contacts folder.  What should I do?

I'm trying to find out if it's possible to programatically add a new
contacts folder to the address book when using OL98 in IMO mode.  This
new folder would be totally virtual and it's contents would be supplied
and maintained by code.

I created a custom form in Outlook 2003 (beta) and selected a new .ico
file for the icon.  It the properties section of the custom form the
icon shows up for both the big and small version, but when I base a

transfer contact information from one computer to another
without having to re-enter all of the individual data?

I have saved my contacts and calendar files from one
Outlook 2000 computer onto a cd as pst files and have
tried the import file wizard to view those files on
another computer using outlook 97.

Running Outlook 98 Corporate or Workgroup version and
Win98SE.  Outlook functions fine until recently when I
open a New Message and click "To" or the "Address Book"
icon, I get a message as follows:

Outlook 2000.  How can I merge the Address Book data with
the Contacts data?  Is the Address Book a seperate file,
or is it apart of the .pst file like the Contacts?

I try to add contacts and when I try to add the third
contact, suddenly, outlook show an error and closed.
Could you help me?
