Cannot export address book/contacts.  Please help.18 Jan 2004 03:42 GMT1
I am running Outlook 2000 under Win2k.  I want to export the entire contents
of my address book as a backup before I delete a bunch of inactive entires,
but the Files | Export option is not active (dimmed).  What am I missing?

I am using Outlook 2003 on a Windows XP Media Center HP PC.
I have a contact whose email has changed.  Even though I changed it in the
contact field and saved it, when I try to type her name in the To: area,
Outlook tries to suggest the old email address.  I have deleted the contact

I created distribution lists in a folder under contacts
so that they don't show up in the contacts list.This works
fine except that when it is entered into the to:feild on

Hello...
In OL2000, you have the Tools>Services>Addressing tab where you can
set/determine which address book and/or contacts folder to use first when
creating/composing new emails.

I was wondering whether a central address book within Outlook could be
shared with other users in a network. Adding, deleting or modifying
contacts should be possible from a central location. If this is not
possible are there any other address books that do support such sharing

I'm using Outlook 2003 Windows XP.
Outlook includes the "Find > Look in" options and also "Type a contact to
find" option. How do I clear the results of these searches?
I've clicked "Clear" to no avail. I've "cleared" everything I can think of.
