I selected an address under contact in Outlook 2000 and
got this above error message. Does anyone what these mean

None of the Look up , Find or Advanced Find features work.
Upgraded from Office XP to 2003 on an XP Pro machine, without first removing
Office XP, and leaving my .pst file in the normal location.  After
installation, Outlook opened, and the .pst file was empty.  Discovered that

Is there some way to stop MSN Messenger contacts from automatically
appearing in Outlook Express (Version 5)? Nobody seems to know anything
about this problem.

How do I select only part of a contact group to send a message to?  I have one group with 47  members and occassionally want to leave off a name (like when we are planning an event for that person and don't want them to receive the email)?

A user has OL2002 installed; typing in the first few letters of a name
will resolve if used in the same login session. When he logs off and
logs back on, OL doesn't "remember" what names have already been used
from the previous logon. The logon info is the same.

My contacts folder is corrupted (I believe)  When I use
the To: and then go to pick from the list, choosing my
contacts folder, rather than the GAL I am unable to see
all of my contacts that are in my Folder.

Despite the fact that I imported my address book and none
of my distribution lists transferred, I am also having
difficulty sorting my entries.  In the past if I wanted
to change the sort, I would simply click on the column

In creating a distribution list, from my contacts, if I select a person that has a fax number, the contact shows up with the email address and with the fax number (as two seperate members).  Is there a setting where the fax number will not show up as a member.  Anyone else seen ...

Seems I have a duplicate of my various contacts in my
24 catagories. Might there be an easy way to cancel or
delete replicated entries?? Or is it the usual longform
of deleting one at a time!

I have just upgraded to Office 2003 and my Contacts do not
appear in my Address book.  Other than re-entering one at
a time, is there a way to import or copy and paste?

I have a user that is running OL2000 on Windows 200 Pro.
we have Exchange 5.5.  When the user tries to
create/address a message to a person in the outside

I have a user that is a Publishing Editor for a number of
others in our management group.  Recently she copied a
contact from her list to one of the managers.  The contact

While attemptig to highlight over 400 contacts for a mailing, I inadvertently pressed a combination of control/shift or control/alt and created duplicates of all these contacts.  How can I eliminate them without going through them one-by-one???  Many thanks for any suggestions.

I have my contacts organized by folders/separate contact
lists and when I click on the To: address line of an e-
mail and the select name appears the lists include fax
numbers as well as e-mail addresses.  Does anyone know how
