Is it possible in Outlook to define a Category based on
other Categories?
For example, I'd like to have a category for Contacts that

Just formatted hard drive.

Thanks for your reply to these problems (at the end is a copy of the original thread). Neither one of the personal folders referenced can be closed: They're clones of each other. The only solution seems to be to un- and re-install Outlook.
