Is there any way in which I can count the contacts I have
in an address book group? And then all contacts in my
contact list?
Reply to email if possible.

A friend of mine asked me how to get up the "From:" field
when you are going to write a new mail. I told her how and
also recommended that she do a microsoft update.

I have typed up a lot of contacts in Outlook 2003 for my
parents and when I brought the cd to their computer to
copy onto their Outlook 2000 it will not work.  I
exported to a .pst file and also copied all of the

I am using MS Office XP For Small Business. I can see my
Contact list with all entries. To send an email I click
on a folder other than Calendar or Contacts. I then click
New. This starts Word untitled message. If I click To or

I've just upgraded laptops, in the process, moving from
Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003.
I copied the .pst file over and am able to receive email

I was recently upgraded to Outlook 2002 and XP Pro.  I
now have duplicate entries in my address book.  One entry
if the contact as an entry and a second entry if the
person also has a fax number entered. This only seems to

Outlook used to automatically format telephone numbers
that you entered.  In other words, if you typed in,
5555555555, it would display as (555) 555-5555.  Is there
a way to enable this automatic formatting?

previous machine) and thought they were copying to
Outlook. Instead they appear to be in my Windows Address
Book. How do I copy them across to my Outlook Contacts?

I have hundreds of contacts, all broken down by category.  I want to create a unique distribution list for each category.  Is there a way to add (or import) all the contacts belonging to a particular category into a single distribution list.
It looks as if I have to select each ...
