I want to import address to outlook 97 using window 98. I choose import a file and destination is the "contacts" folder. Then it said:

I recently moved from OL2000 to 2003. One difference I see is that when I enter a phone number as 8885551212 it does not get reformatted to (888) 555-1212 as it did in OL2000. I spoke with a friend who is also using 2003 and it works

In some address lists you can begin typing a name and the program finds the progressive letters as you type. I can't seem to make that work in Outlook. Is there a setting for this? Or is this not an option in the program? Thanks for any help
