I'm Using Outlook 2002.  in my contacts folder I enter
new contacts under "full name" as "Firstname Lastname".  
in the "file as" box, the data appears as Lastname,
Firstname.  "display as" appears as Lastname, Firstname.

I made up distribution lists for Outlook by importing names and email
addresses.  I gather that I should have started by making individual
"Contact" files for each.  Now I have a set of DL's whose members I would
like to make into individual contacts.  Can't I get Outlook to do ...

My company wants to create a company-wide contact list.  I've built this as
a public folder on Exchange 2003 - no problem.  However, they want to be
able to modify the categories to make them more pertinent to how the list is
used.

When I give permission to another users contacts and add that users to
my outlook, I like to see these contacts as an address book, normally
you have the option through properties - outlook address book to turn
this on. But I do not see that option in another users Contact list?

When I have two or more email address loaded into my contacts under one
contact it is filing under the one name and not the name of the person
selected for the second email eg canterbury@hotmail.com and paula@hotmail.com
both come up under paula in the contacts search. Help!

The Outlook address book can't be added to the address book for some reason.  
It gives and error, saying that it can't be added because there are nothing
in the address book, but it also will not let me add any new contacts.  The
address book also doesn't seem to be available.  ...

When using outlook, I try to add an address to the personal address book.  It
opens to the tab which asks for the name, email address, and email type.  
What is supposed to be entered in the email type box?

If i open a .vcf (vCard) file and then add it to my address book, the
details always get added to my outlook express contact list (address book).
I have it setup in internet options to use outlook for my contact list.  I
have no idea why it refuses to use the Outlook address book.  ...

I have deleted email address from my Address Book - however when I go to send
a message and begin typing the name of the recipent a deleted address pops
up.  How can I elimanate that old address for good?

I am trying to export my Outlook Express address book
from one computer to another. The individual email
addresses transfer, but I cannot get the groups to
transfer. Is there some way to export the groups as well?
