I am told it to be easy to export Outlook address book to a CD and to use this as a backup by importing it to the same folder, should problems ever arise I must be doing this task completely wrong for I am fast giving up.

I saved my .pst and .ost files. I reinstall outlook98 and do a file open to the .pst. When I open outlook, my email folders, contacts and calendar info are no longer there. I have had this happen several times.
