Does anyone know how to import Outlook categories from another PC so I don't
have to recreate them?

I have some data in Excel (1200 records) containing FirstName, LastName,
Email address. I want to create an Outlook distribution list, but an error
keeps coming up when trying to import the file. A problem with the Excel
translator. Can anyone help?

I am using Microsoft Outlook 2002 on a network.  When I add categories in
Public Files; the categories only appear on my computer; not on other peoples

Is it possible to change the order of the address lists in
the Show Names from -list. E.g can you have contacts in
the beginning of the list? Usually they are in the bottom,
but I had them at the top in one client until I removed

The distribution lists should have a facility to hide the string of e-mail
address lists when sending to a group of people.  Instead it allows all to be
seen.  Recipients complain that half to a whole page is wasted when printing
a received message just on e-mail addresses.  ...

I have many duplicate items in my contacts folder (Outllok 2003). Is there a
tool to scan the Outlook Contact folder and delete duplicates?

I have a user that aren?t able to open a DL in his Outlooks Contacts folder.
I suspect that the DL contains to many recipients. But why has he been able
to create it? What is the maximum amount of recipients that can be put in a
DL in contacts. Is this amount adjustable somewhere.

I am going crazy with no complete address book; all 3 of my computers have
some of the same, some different.  I have tried to export them (2 computers
are on a network), tried putting them on a disk, cd etc. I just can't get the
200 plus addresses on all 3. help! even my teenager ...

Even from a fresh powerup or restart, Outlook is not in my startup menu

We have well over 5000 contacts stored since May 2004 when we converted to
this system.  I have a part time person who updates/changes/adds contacts.  

I send messages to a large group.
I currently "Forward to All" to send the next message.
I would rather that all of these addresses be in a Distribution List.
I would rather not have them as individual contacts and have to pick them out.

Just need to know how to print labels in Outlook?

In Outlook 2000, I had an icon in the Shortcut bar for a contact folder
that's in a Public folder.  
In Outlook 2003, the Shortcut bar has been replaced with the Navigation
Pane, which has buttons for the most common things at the bottom; i.e.: Mail,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to take the contacts from the Public
Folder and put in on the Naviagtion Pane on the left of the screen.
